Blessed Brother Gérard Scholarships

In 2015, the Association created a scholarship for the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal to assist graduating students complete a six- to eight-week internship in an Order of Malta hospital in a developing country. To this day, students have been sent to hospitals in Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Madagascar and Benin. The scholarship focuses on caring for the poor and the sick and supports ethical efforts in caring for vulnerable clienteles – in line with the efforts we are making through the International Association of Catholic Bioethics.
