On February 6, 2023, at 4:17 UCT a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the area of Southern Türkiye/Northern Syria, followed by several strong aftershocks. The Malteser International emergency support team has already arrived in Gaziantep to provide assistance. As feared the number of casualties continues to rise dramatically.
