Toronto/South West Ontario Delegation Celebrates Solemnity of St. John the Baptist
On Monday, June 24, members and friends of the Toronto/South West Ontario Delegation of the Canadian Association gathered to celebrate the feast day of our heavenly patron.
His Grace The Most Reverend Francis Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto, celebrated Mass in St. John’s Chapel at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica. The concelebrants at Mass were the Most Reverend John A. Boissonneau, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto, Grand Cross Conventual Chaplain ad honorem; the Most Reverend Ivan Camilleri, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto; and the Reverend David Katulski, CSB, Magistral Chaplain.
After Mass, a dinner was held, at which His Excellency Valentine Lovekin, President of the Canadian Association, announced that the Sovereign Council had approved the admission of Archbishop Leo to the Order with the rank of Grand Cross Conventual Chaplain ad honorem.
