The Order of Malta’s Grand Master, Fra’ John Dunlap, shares the condolences of the Nuns of St. John of Jerusalem for the passing of Sister Isabel, Mother Superior, who died at the age of 97 in the monastery of Salinas de Añana.

Sister Isabel spent her long religious life in prayer and service, keeping alive the contemplative dimension of the Order of St. John.
The Grand Master invites all the confreres, knights and dames of the Order of Malta to join in prayers for the repose of her soul, thanking the Lord for the testimony of faith and dedication she has left.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 1st October at midday at the Real Monasterio de San Juan de Acre, followed by the burial ritual in the convent cemetery.
