The Canadian Association is pleased to announce that the Clothing of a Novice Knight of Justice will take place during the annual Investiture weekend in Ottawa. The novitiate of a knight is an important step in the process of discernment that leads to the taking of permanent vows. Professed knights are religious for all purposes of Canon Law and are the core, the heart, of our religious order. Ceremonies will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 27th and 28th, 2013.
A Vigil of Arms and the Clothing Ceremony of the new Novice Knight of Justice will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Saint-Patrick’s Basilica (220 Kent Street, Ottawa, Ontario).
The Investiture Mass will be presided by His Grace Archbishop Terrance Prendergast S.J., Archbishop of Ottawa and will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 at the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica (385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario).
